History

The villa of the 19th century was initially used as a private home by its proprietors, the Huetter family. In 2003 restoration works began and the estate was extended by a new building. The Boutique-Hotel HEIDELBERG SUITES opened officially on January 1.

Architecture / Design

The architecture as well as the interior are shaped by the design of the internationally renowned architect Michele Bönan and his wife Christine Huetter-Boenan. Inspired by Heidelberg’s history, both of them created this hotel reviving the German romanticism. The residence reflects the epoch of the romanticism and the classicism. Michele Bönan especially designed the furniture for The HEIDELBERG SUITES. Soon, the furniture presented in the hotel and the decoration items can be purchased via catalogue.

Proprietor

The Huetter GbR based in Sinsheim is the proprietor of The Boutique-Hotel HEIDELBERG SUITES and the HEIDELBERG SUITES Guesthouse. The operating company is the Huetter GmbH.

  • 5 Junior Suites. Maximum occupancy 2 adults + 1 child / room size approx. 40-45 sqm (430 – 480 sq ft) single occupancy EUR 325,00* / double occupancy EUR 355,00*
  • 6 Superior Suites. Maximum occupancy 2 adults + 2 children / room size approx. 45-55 sqm (480 – 590 sq ft) single occupancy EUR 405,00* / double occupancy EUR 435,00*
  • 1 Penthouse Suite. Maximum occupancy 2 adults + 1 child / approx. 70 sqm (750 sq ft) single occupancy EUR 655,00* / double occupancy EUR 685,00*

All suites have a view to the Castle, two separate rooms and a fully-equipped pantry kitchen with an espresso machine. The spacious bathrooms offer natural light and their equipment meet the highest standards. Modern communication and entertainment electronics, as WLAN, flat-screen-TV, satellite TV in addition to an Ipod/MP3 docking station starting from the junior category are part of the basic equipment of the rooms. Some of the suites can be used as a family suite due to connecting doors or sofa beds.

The Penthouse Suite also offers a spacious rooftop terrace with Jacuzzi. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a sink, a bidet and a toilet. The Suite has a huge couch, a small dining area and a desk.

The affiliated HEIDELBERG SUITES Guesthouse for long-term rentals is equipped with 3 Economy Studios, 3 Junior Suites und 1 Standard Suite.

Services / Extras

The residence is surrounded by a romantic garden area which invites guests with a whirlpool and a pavilion for meetings or events.

The conference room respectively private room with the most modern event technique can be rented for smaller meetings or private gatherings. The room is suitable for conferences with up to 15 participants. If desired the room can also be used as a Presidential Suite. A spacious rooftop terrace with views of the Heidelberg Castle and the Old Town is accessible for hotel guests and can be rented for private events.

A small Spa-area offers a sauna and steam bath as well as fitness equipment. In addition, massages or private yoga courses can be booked. The nearby forest is perfect for jogging.

The HEIDELBERG SUITES offers a limousine service for sightseeing-tours, restaurant visits and for transportation to the airport or train station. A chauffeur-driven Golf-cart is available for our guests for trips to the near-by Old City to the Heidelberg-Castle. Further more HEIDELBERG SUITES provides bicycles for the local mobility of their guests.
